Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those queries. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create routine logs that can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps us maintain the site and see which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Information
These limited data support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to Maryland government portals, Baltimore County offices, library collections, or outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that service's privacy terms. The same rule applies to sponsored results, which an outside company provides.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise share visitor information.
How Information Is Protected
An encrypted connection serves the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes stated here. Since the site has no visitor accounts, it holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Rights
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Md. Code, Commercial Law ยงยง14-4601 through 14-4614, may give covered Maryland consumers rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain certain personal data, subject to the law's scope and exceptions. Because we retain little, a request will generally involve our contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public records held by Baltimore County or Maryland offices remain outside our control, so a request concerning an official record must go to its custodian.
